New Client Visits

All new clients are required to have a meet and greet. This allows us to get to know you and your pet, as well as giving you an opportunity to get to know us and ask any questions you may have.

Service Area

We are pleased to serve the communities of Rochester, Rochester Hills, and Oakland Township, Michigan.

Multiple-Pet Households

We do not charge for multiple pets in the same household as long as all the requested tasks can be completed in the scheduled amount of time. All pets in the household must belong to the same owner or separate contracts must be signed.

Transportation

If Bone Ami is transporting your pet (either for Doggie Day Hikes or Concierge service), dogs must have a restraint or carrier to be transported. All cats being transported must have a carrier.

Veterinary Care

Owners must make prior arrangements for payment with the veterinarian of their choice prior to Bone Ami caring for their pet. In case of an emergency every attempt will be made to contact you, but if we are unable to reach you we will take your pet to the nearest animal hospital.

Minimum Scheduled Visits

During vacation care, we require a minimum of three 30-minute visits for dogs and one 30-minute visit for cats per 24 hour period to ensure your pet is safe and receiving enough exercise

Fences and Leashes

During walks and/or potty breaks, all dogs must either be on a leash or let out in a secure fenced area. Our insurance does not cover dogs that are not leashed or fenced.

Referrals

If an existing client makes a referral or a new client mentions your name when they book, a coupon for 10% off will be sent to you to use on your next service.

Cancellations

  • Payment in full is due at least one week prior to the date service begins.
  • There will be a $35 service charge for each returned check.
  • Cancellation Charge Schedule effective (% applies to entire service period total):
    • 0 - 48 hours prior to any service, and/or Holidays: Payment in full is charged (no refunds)
    • 3-7 Days prior to scheduled service: 25% of fee is due (75% refund).
    • More than 7 Days prior to service: Full refund. No charge.

Early Returns

We do not issue refunds for early returns. We have booked your time slot and have potentially turned down other clients.

Holiday Fees

We charge an additional $7.50 per visit on Holidays. Holidays include: New Year's Day, Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year's Eve.
